If you are new to class, weeks 1-3 are a great place to start. You must complete a full monthly cycle of the first three weeks before you can engage in our sparring class.

What Students Will Learn
There are a variety of basic techniques (基本功 - jibengong) which are fundamental to all martial arts. These include stances, blocks, punches, kicks, throws, and locks as well as line and partner drills. A strong emphasis is placed on the practical application of knowledge learned.
Forms are a catalogue of techniques and ideas arranged in a flowing sequence. Sometimes an entire style can be showcased within a single form, while other times a style may have forms in the double digits to express its breadth of techniques. Ned Kung Fu focuses on Lohan Boxing as its foundation, and moves on to Xing Yi, Bagua, and TaiJiQuan for its advanced curriculum. The study and practice of forms is a physical and intellectual pursuit and allows for a lifetime of practice and refinement.
Traditional weapons training is begun at the second rank, and students will learn the staff, broadsword, spear, and straight sword.
In addition to the martial arts curriculum, students will learn restorative practices including yoga postures, meditation techniques, and breathing exercises for a holistic approach to fitness and self defense.
Everything comes together in our sparring class where we apply our techniques against progressive resistance in a live training environment.

Beyond the ability to repeat the requirements, students must be able to demonstrate:
